Well.... I was almost there.

So, it's the last day of February and my goal was to have finished editing by March 1. That's not going to happen (it'll likely be March 6 now). But I have a good excuse: stomach virus. At first I thought it was food poisoning, but now that my sister is experiencing similar symptoms whatever I had must have been catching. I feel bad because it was certainly no picnic and knocked me out for a few days. I'm feeling much better now and will be starting Chpt. 21 of 23+epilogue in a few minutes.

So, that's a mini recap of what's been happening and where I'm at in editing. Hope everyone is well and healthy!

  1. I didn't see this post until after I posted on the one on top.

I'm super glad you got better, hopefully it won't knock you sister out too.

Can't wait till you've sent this book out because I'm hoping it'll mean Es and Moo edits.

  2. I'm glad I'm better too and my sister didn't get it as bad and is back to work. It was so horrible... blah.

You know, I've already edited half of the first Es/Moo novel. Sure I'll probably need to go back and look at all that again, but once I send this out it does mean that I'll at least re-post the story on FP. :)

  3. OMG!!! You made me so happy.

BE QUICK!!! I was thinking the other day, you say you're editing the stories.
I do hope you haven't taken away any scenes, just kept adding, because I've got to mention I LOVE how realistic your stories are and it has some hilarious pieces in. I'm particularly fond of the one where Adam walks in on Es sitting on the loo, and when poor Caleb gets food poisoning and...toilet problems...

  4. :) No, I haven't taken out any scenes (that I remember), my edits were more about making the story complete. Setting up a problem/issue that needed to be solved/fixed. I remember that I wrote the first half of KM1 just rolling with things that were happening and then halfway through was like "oh wait, I need to figure out how this is going to end, it can't go on forever." :) So it needed a little work plot-wise, but all the fun crazy Estela stuff is still in there. I'll try to be quick...
