First Drafts

I'm going strong with this 1-page a day resolution (I'm already 20 pages in). As I work on AROUND THE WORLD TONIGHT I realize how patchy my first drafts are. I find myself thinking "I'll make that better later" a lot. I'm a huge fan of write the first draft with your heart and edit with your brain, which I'm pretty sure I've mentioned here before. Sometimes the holes are pretty big and it take a long time to fill them, but it's still fun.
