Zoe Rayne is happy. Although some people think she’d be happier if she were dating, Zoe is determined to stand by her belief that you don’t need a man to complete your life.

When Colton Philips is presented with the starter boyfriend contract, he doesn’t think much of it. As he sees it, the agreement along with his thriving landscaping business are just the distractions he needs while waiting for his ex-fiancée to return and marry him. Never mind that it’s been two years since she left him at the altar and ran away to Paris with their dog.
 
The starter boyfriend will consider kissing Ms. Rayne should he feel so inclined.
